Mindanao State University – General Santos officially held its groundbreaking ceremony on the 16-million edifice that will house the Center for Biodiversity Studies in SOCSKSARGEN, Thursday morning, March 4.
The event was led by University System President Dr. Habib W. Macaayong, along with the Chancellor of Mindanao State University – General Santos Dr. Anshari P. Ali. Also present were Dr. Mishell D. Lawas, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Mr. Usman D. Aragasi, the newly-installed Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance and various officials of MSU-GSC. Atty. Jamaloden A. Basar, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Engr. Rashid Paca, the Vice President for Planning and Development and other MSU-System delegates also attended the ceremony.
Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension Dr. Edna P. Oconer outlined the overview of the Center for Biodiversity Studies in SOCSKSARGEN.
