Mindanao State University – General Santos joined the University of Sharjah’s 4th International Conference on Arabs and Muslims’ History of Sciences held on April 4-6, 2021 via Zoom Video Conferencing. The three-day virtual conference features keynote addresses, plenary talks, and sessions around the theme of “Scientific Legacy and Its Impacts”.

Invited as one of the keynote speakers of the event, MSU-GSC’s Chancellor Dr. Anshari P. Ali expressed his deepest gratitude and pleasure to the University of Sharjah under the leadership of His Excellency Prof. Hamid Al-Naimly – Chancellor of University of Sharjah. During his keynote address, Dr. Ali delivered an engaging speech focusing on the Introduction of Islamic Civilization in Southern Philippines and the Role of Mindanao State University – General Santos City in Realizing Peace in Mindanao. 

More than 400 attendees convened during the event, including Undersecretary of Academic Affairs, MOE, UAE His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim AL Mualla, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage His Excellency Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Masullam, Director General of Sharjah Museum University Her Excellency Manal Ataya, Chairperson of Organization Committee Dr. Hussein Elmehdi, Prof. Erwin Andreas Eckart – Physics Department, University of Cologne and Prof. Jan Pieter Hogendijk – Mathematics Department, University of Utrecht, Netherlands.
