MSU-GSC forms a partnership with Biotech Farms Inc. Banga, South Cotabato and MSU-GSC Multi-Purpose Cooperative by signing a Memorandum of Agreement in the implementation of the Waste Paper Buying Project and Animal Vaccination on Tuesday, February 23.
The inking of the Memorandum of Agreement was attended by Dr. Mishell D. Lawas, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, together with the Chairperson of Waste Management Committee Prof. Sheila J. Loable, the OIC-Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance, Dr. Edward R. Lapong, Dean of College of Agriculture & the Co-chairperson of Waste Management Committee, Biotech Farms, Inc. Banga chaired by Mr. Erwin B. Saballa, MSU-GSC Multi-Purpose Cooperative chaired by Engr. Felipe T. Galia, Animal Vaccination Team headed by Dr. Alexis Miole, Dr. Josh Elisha R. Octura, the Director of Quality Assurance Management Services Office, Ms. Lorraine M. Dagalangit, the Director of Internal Audit Services, Mr. Mohamad Alia’an Abdulatifh, the Chief of Staff, Ms. Jorgelyn Rivera, the Campus Secretary, and Prof. Tersa R. Castillo, the Campus Registrar.
The project aims to purchase waste paper from different offices and even residences while promoting and ensuring effective delivery of waste services. This is also to avoid and minimize the generation of waste to safeguard the protection of the environment through efficient waste management measures. The animal vaccination program, on the other hand, focuses on eliminating rabies as a public health problem and ensuring the overall health and welfare of the community.
