The Expanded Student Grant – in aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (ESGP-PA) Grantees attended the Chancellor’s Meeting and Ceremonial Release of Subsidy held at Conference Room, Y – Building, Thursday morning, March 29, 2021 to claim their stipend for the A.Y. 2019-2020. Beneficiaries under ESGP-PA program are directly eligible for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) under Republic Act 10931, also known as, the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.
During her welcome remarks, Campus Registrar Prof. Tersa R. Castillo expressed her joy and pleasure about the ESGP-PA grantees receiving their long-awaited stipend. Likewise, Chancellor Dr. Anshari P. Ali extended his heartfelt congratulations to the grantees, especially those who graduated successfully during the pandemic. He further remarked that the administration will continue to support and respond to the concerns of all the student-beneficiaries. On the other hand, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Usman D. Aragasi encouraged the students to approach the administration for concerns and queries without hesitation.
