The College of Law is committed to developing competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals through quality education, research, and public service. It aims to produce lawyers who are not only knowledgeable in legal theory and practice but also capable of upholding justice, promoting the rule of law, and serving society with integrity. The college provides a rigorous learning environment that combines theoretical knowledge, practical training, and experiential learning to prepare graduates for the dynamic legal profession. It focuses on these four main goals:

  • Highly competent and ethically grounded legal professionals;
  • Innovative and impactful legal research and scholarship;
  • Relevant and community-oriented legal services and extension programs; and
  • Strengthened institutional linkages for legal practice, advocacy, and professional development.

Programs

The Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in legal principles, jurisprudence, and ethical practice. It aims to develop analytical, logical, and critical-thinking skills essential for the study and application of law. The program integrates theoretical instruction with practical training through legal research, case analysis, and clinical experience to prepare students for the demands of legal practice and public service. Graduates are expected to uphold justice, integrity, and the rule of law while contributing to the advancement of society as competent and responsible members of the legal profession.
