40th EDSA People Power Revolution

On February 25, 1986, courage triumphed over fear as the Filipino people stood united in the historic EDSA People Power Revolution, a defining moment that restored the nation’s democratic foundations.
Forty years later, Mindanao State University–General Santos joins the entire nation in commemorating this milestone. As an academic community committed to truth, integrity, and critical inquiry, we draw inspiration from the spirit of unity and moral courage that EDSA embodied.
May this commemoration renew our collective commitment to uphold freedom, accountability, and active civic engagement in safeguarding the nation’s democratic ideals.
