The partnership brings together the university and its partners in advancing initiatives anchored on service, community development, and support for communities in need.

The program opened with the registration led by Moh’d Amersab D. Pangandaman of the Halal Research & Training Center, followed by an invocation led by Ustadh Johair M. Daud.

Prof. Jamilnur D. Sarip, MAIS, Director of the Halal Research & Training Center, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the significance of collaboration in strengthening initiatives that respond to community needs.

Prof. Anderson V. Villa, PhD, Chairperson of the International Relations Department, facilitated the reading of the MOA content and served as master of ceremonies.

During his message of commitment, Zulkifli Bin Baharom, Vice President of Amal Foundation Malay, and Mohammad M. Sani Jr. of 5NG Construction Supplies expressed their support for the partnership and its shared objectives.

In his message of support, MSU-GenSan Chancellor Atty. Shidik T. Abantas, MDM, LLM, highlighted the importance of giving and extending assistance to communities in need. “That’s what we envy when we go to other Islamic countries,” Abantas said, referring to the practice of giving zakah, charity, and hadiyah to communities in need. He emphasized that such practices demonstrate the value of collective responsibility and generosity in addressing the needs of communities.

The MOA signing proper was then conducted by Baharom, representing Amal Foundation Malay, and Sani Jr., representing 5NG Construction Supplies, formally marking the beginning of their collaboration with MSU – GenSan.

Through the partnership, MSU-GenSan, Amal Foundation Malay, and 5NG Construction Supplies seek to strengthen collaboration and contribute to initiatives that promote service, support, and community welfare.
