Mindanao State University–General Santos proudly honored its graduates who excelled in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, awarding incentives to three alumni from the College of Education who placed in the Top 10.
During the awarding ceremony, the topnotchers were present together with their Dean, Prof. Diane Mae U. Lozano, and other faculty and staff, as Chancellor Atty. Shidik T. Abantas personally congratulated them and presented their incentives. The honorees include Shara Mae V. Mansueto, who made history as the first-ever English major to place in the Top 10 with a rating of 93.00%; Christ Mae Cabrera, a Science major who also earned a Top 10 distinction with a 93.00% rating; and Monica F. Campos, who placed in the Top 10 at the Elementary Level with a rating of 92.20%.
Shara Mae V. Mansueto shared her gratitude and pride, saying, “I’ve been in MSU for 10 years, starting from high school. The quality of education shaped me into who I am today. This achievement is not only my success but everyone’s success.”
Chancellor Abantas also conveyed his heartfelt congratulations, “We are immensely proud of your accomplishments. I hope you continue to strive for excellence and inspire others as you achieve your dreams. With dedication and perseverance, we can continue to elevate the College of Education and expand opportunities for future educators,” he said.
This event highlighted MSU–GenSan’s commitment to academic excellence while inspiring the next generation of professional teachers.
