MSU-GenSan produces Record-Breaking 32 Topnotchers in the March 2026 LET

Mindanao State University–General Santos proudly celebrates another historic achievement as it produced a record-breaking 32 topnotchers in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET), marking a milestone of excellence for the university and its teacher education programs.

Among the 32 topnotchers are 17 Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), 9 Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED), and 6 Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED).
Leading this historic achievement is Monnete L. Yap of the Bachelor of Elementary Education program, who secured Top 1 nationwide with an outstanding rating of 95.00%.

Adding to this remarkable feat, the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) program proudly celebrates its first batch of graduates and first LET takers from MSU–GenSan, who immediately made their mark by securing multiple Top 10 placements in the national examination.

Highlighting this milestone are the following topnotchers from different programs under the College of Education:

𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒

𝟏𝟕 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐃) topnotchers recorded a 100% passing rate among first-time takers, with an overall MSU–GSC Elementary passing rate of 90.53%.

𝟗 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐏𝐄𝐃) topnotchers led an outstanding performance as the program achieved a 100% passing rate in the March 2026 LET.

𝟔 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐃) topnotchers contributed to the university’s strong performance, with MSU–GSC Secondary Level recording a 95.57% passing rate among first-time takers and an overall passing rate of 87.08%.

Moreover, MSU–GenSan continues to strengthen its reputation for academic excellence and quality teacher education through the dedication and competence of its students, faculty mentors, and academic leaders in fostering excellence and producing globally competitive educators.
