On April 25, Consul General Ono attended the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the new President of PHILAJAMES Mindanao Chapter, held at Park Inn by Radisson.
PHILAJAMES, or the Philippine Association of Japanese Government Scholars, is an alumni association for Filipinos who have studied in Japan under the MEXT (Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) scholarship program. Founded in 1972, the association aims to promote the MEXT scholarship program and Japanese culture in the Philippines.
