Mindanao State University – General Santos highlighted its recent academic achievements during the March 23, 2026 flag raising ceremony, hosted by the College of Agriculture and the Center for Curriculum Studies and Instructional Designing, recognizing programs that recently achieved Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) accreditation and reaffirming the university’s commitment to quality and academic excellence.
In his message, Chancellor Shidik T. Abantas emphasized the importance of maintaining excellence within the institution, stating, “Let us continue to uphold quality and remain committed to the standards that define our university.” He also extended his greeting of “Eid Mubarak,” sharing that the university successfully conducted two Eid prayers, one at the College of Education Training Department campus (CETD) and another within the campus, reflecting MSU-GenSan’s commitment to inclusivity and respect for diverse traditions.
He further congratulated various academic programs for achieving AACCUP accreditation, recognizing their dedication to maintaining quality standards and advancing academic excellence. In addition, he reminded the university community to remain mindful of the implementation of the compressed work week.
Meanwhile, the celebration of National Women’s Month continues across the campus, with activities that highlight the vital roles and contributions of women in leadership, education, and community development.
