MSU-GenSan College of Medicine secured the Overall 1st Runner-Up distinction at the 15th Association of Philippine Medical Colleges–Student Network (APMC-SN) Mindanao Convention, held from January 29 to 31, 2026, at Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro City.
The convention brought together around 1,000 student delegates from 10 medical schools across Mindanao. Represented by 90 student leaders and future physicians, the MSU–GenSan College of Medicine distinguished itself through commendable performances in a wide range of academic and co-curricular competitions.
The achievement was made possible through the guidance of the College’s faculty and staff, as well as the continued support of the University administration under Chancellor Atty. Shidik T. Abantas, MDM, LLM, whose leadership remains central to advancing student engagement and professional formation.
This milestone underscores MSU–GenSan’s commitment to developing well-rounded medical professionals equipped to lead, serve, and excel in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
