The Mindanao State University – General Santos community convened for its weekly flag raising ceremony on April 13, 2026, hosted by the College of Medicine and the College of Health Sciences.
During the program, the university honored its College of Medicine students for winning multiple awards at the APMC-SN National Convention 2026, standing out among participating institutions nationwide. Their achievements underscore the institution’s continued pursuit of academic excellence.
In his message, Chancellor Shidik T. Abantas emphasized the importance of remaining grounded and responsive amid evolving national and global challenges. “Stay mindful of the crises we are facing,” he said, highlighting the value of preparedness and collective awareness in navigating present circumstances.
The Chancellor also announced the conduct of a two-day training on IPCR and DPCR, set to commence on the same day at Venue 88, as part of the university’s continued efforts to strengthen performance management and institutional efficiency.
The ceremony brought together university officials, faculty members, staff, and students, reinforcing a strong sense of unity and shared purpose within the MSU-GenSan community.
