About
The Extension Services Division (ESD) of Mindanao State University–General Santos is the University’s primary arm for community engagement, translating instruction, research, and innovation into responsive, inclusive, and sustainable extension programs that address the development needs of SOCCSKSARGEN. Guided by the SOAR Framework, the Division works closely with communities and partner institutions to deliver evidence-based initiatives that build local capacities, promote innovation, and create meaningful, lasting social impact.
Functions
- Provides administrative support to the extension activities of the colleges (preparation, processing, and submission of financial and administrative reports.
- Assist in coordinating and deploying the extension activities of the colleges.
- Assist in promotion of Package of Technology developed by Colleges in the community.
- Assist in setting up social media, information systems to promote the activities of the extension programs of the University
- Assist in developing extension strategies and plans of the colleges in coordination with the college coordinators, and recommend the same for University funding.
